More on Chair & Man
Curtis: I guess the law of averages says that it had to happen at SOME point?
rr: I knew Slim Goodbody would take off his suit one day.
Barry: What is wrong with you people?
Are you all blind?
That image is amazing!
And the rest of his work on his site is a breath of fresh air!
anonymous coward: It's happened - I can't look at AT at work anymore. Between the naked lady at the finish line and this, its just too risky.

for the record, we WANT to be a little bit risky, but do not want to make it so that people are scared of pullling up the site at work. our monday pics will always be "art", for sale, and are therefore carefully vetted to be just shy of trouble.
if we ever get really naughty, we'll put the pic behind a big red curtain....
I don't think the site has QUITE become too risky, so I still said "no".
Neither too risky or risque. This image doesn't need a red curtain anymore than the statues in the U.S. Justice Dept.
that is risky?
I think that's a good idea! That way, we can see all the G-rated stuff at work, and then yank back the curtain when we're home, or when we think that "the coast is clear".
Bring on the red curtain items! What fun--another reason to return to the site after work (to play peek-a-boo.)
While the entire site hasn't become to risky, that picture is. I imagine most coworkers and bosses in most work environments would probably overlook seeing their coworker looking at a chair when they should be working.
But if that chair contained a naked man (from a distance, it's probably impossible to tell that it's not showing pretty much everything), all hell is likely to break loose.
So, no random perusing of Michaelangelo work at the office, folks!
OK, there may be some legitimate concerns if you're browsing this or any non-work related sites at your office job. But I don't recall this much turmoil over the more numerous images of scantily clad women with chairs.
There is no playing at my office. Compliance will let me know if the site is too risky with an empty box (with which to clean out my desk). I'd rather enjoy AT without that risk.
I work at a porn company, bring it on! :)
Actually, jimkk, there WAS some concern expressed with some of those pictures that featured scantily clad women. Most of the discussion revolved around the whole misogyny idea. I guess those didn't seem so pornographic, since they really didn't do that much for me?
I wonder if the reason there are not too many "Yep" responses is because those people are not reading the site at work? (I guess we'll see if they read it and respond after typical work hours)
When we get home, we're too busy surfing for porn. ;)
i don't understand the purpose of this question. should people look at non work related websites, if it is frowned upon by your company? the answer is obvious. visit AT at home and bring on the nudies. in other words maxwell don't go changin' .
This is a design site, and what design is more perfect than the human body? I have really enjoyed this whole chair series and would hate to see it censored because a few are looking at it during working hours. If you are concerned about your job, look at home or the library. And you just may become a more productive employee.
