Pure House Candy. This week we travel back to the East Coast and gather up only the House Tours and House Calls from July. I've ranked them by comments this time and simplified the layout a bit. What continues to be most interesting to me, is how strong the small regional differences are between city styles. DC really is different than NYC which is really different than BOSTON. And I instantly find myself drawn differently to the differing styles. Which one are you?

I like bits of all and I live in Sydney - so what does that make me!

Love Jeff and Martha's Staten Island place because it feels like it could be your grandma's place raised to a higher sensibility. Good looks plus gemutlichkeit. It's the place I'd most like to go home to on a chilly autumn day. . . .

I like the small NYC places best. Clean and relatively clutter-free. I live in rural Michigan. Maybe I should move.
