- Tiffany expands their line of Frank Gehry designed pieces. These are PRICEY (and not that interesting) how long before the knockoffs?

- The Lotus Sanitizing System oxygenates water, making it a natural cleanser. Lotus has the same sanitizing rating from the E.P.A. as Lysol, without the chemicals. Bulky, but cool.

This Lotus Sanitizing thing looks interesting. Has anyone used it? What about the science? I'm a little skeptical of their explaination about "exploding bacteria" and protective enzymes description, found in their product manual. Anyone else have any thoughts, because if they aren't just BS-ing, then this item would really be cool and pay for itself fast (over cleansers.)

With apologies to Family Guy...
How does Frank Gehry keep getting work???

Bacteria, fungi, and virii's dislike of ozone is well established:

But note that Lotus produces a sanitizer, not a cleaner: it is not a solvent for oil and therefore will only kill existing bacteria on a surface, not remove food for future bacteria. The company recommends using the sanitizing solution in conjunction with a microfiber cloth, but those are oleophilic and you can't easily get the oil out of them.
So I would say that Lotus can completely replace bleach in your cleaning closet, but hang on to the vinegar and baking soda.
