Top Stories. This week's Home & Garden features fewer stories with deeper roots. We loved the extensive Personal Shopper on Parson's Tables and are a bit depressed about the geodesic-domes with cupolas and turrets...

Is it just my imagination or is the Home and Garden section getting smaller and lamer as time goes by? There used to be several articles that were helpful and fun and now it's about far off places that I can't relate to or huge structures/homes that seem irrelevant to those of us who live here. I like "Personal Shopper" and "Currents" but have pretty much lost interest in the rest. But maybe that's just me.

somebody call extreme homes! these geodesic-domes are just the sort of nasty digs they would feature.

Anne, you are correct...it's not just you

Three things:

1. That first dome in the slideshow looks like a weird, ugly igloo. Especially with the mini-igloo structure off to the side. Ugly, ugly, decor.

2. I like the idea of the garage in the Texas dome having two doors, so they never have to back out.

3. Re: Murrysville, Pa.: Does anyone else think of boobs when they look at the twin domes of the house? Or two scoops of ice cream? I can't decide...

anne, I liked this week's issue. I especially like people/home articles like Mates Don't Match, which I found very amusing. I of course also love house-porn, but I equally like the people stories.
