Has anyone tried making those fantastic filled vinyl storage cubes? Know if they would be sturdy enough to use as stools in real life?

i'm a minimalist not b/c of storage space. it's b/c i'm too poor t afford much! haha that & my parents are pack rats. so, it's my rebellion.
Soooo tempted to get a storage locker. I can declutter but getting other household members to let go is another story...
