apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

House & Home Roundup: 12.15.05

12-19-copperhouse.jpgWe were talking with a few people at our holiday party last week about House and Home and how they don't feature good designers and architects as much as they used to. Whoops! Returning to form, H&H did a big spread on architect Charles Rose last week and the section picked up steam.

Glossy Skin, Vinyl-Clad Heart: Architect Charles Rose remodeled his three story, 1940's colonial in Belmont, MA, by making sweet, modern love to it. This is one hell of a remodel and the house looks NOTHING like it used to. Link: Charles Rose Architects Inc.

My coworker showed me the article about the family that had to move in with their broker - she bought her apartment from that family when they were moving to their new place (or thought they were moving). She told me she emailed the article to her own broker and wrote "If anything goes wrong with my next apartment purchase, I hope you'll have space for me and my family." LOL!
