I just came from both Muji and CB2. Couldn't tell they were separate stores at first. I liked CB2, at least the opportunity to sample their wares after all this time browsing online.

Muji is news to me and the store smells funny. The concept seems to be extremely minimal. Even the clothes have next to no color or embellishment. My twinkly, striped scarf was all the answer I needed to get out of there quick.

Thanks to AT for posting my NYTimes story!
Kind of strange/fun for my Italian cucina to be out there in the world. If anyone is interested - I can help navigate the buying process in this off-the-beaten-track Campanian town. Please Reply through AT.com
