We've always loved the work of children's illustrator and writer Eric Carle. His collages and paintings are inspirational in their colors and organic shapes. In At Home With Eric Carle: Hungry Caterpillar in the Florida Keys, The New York Times explores his recent move to the Florida Keys and the redesign he and his wife completed with architect Luis Pons...

This home is a great example of cozy modern -- the perfect beach house.

I love the kitchen. Modern but not cold.

wow, that's beautiful.

No surprise, considering how beautiful the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art is in Northampton, MA. If you get a chance to visit, you really should.

A well-done renovation. The view and the overall result are quite impressive.
