We haven't blogged House Music in awhile, but upon hearing Lily Allen over the weekend we were inspired to do it again in honor of SmallCool month. This is a big, positive, brassy (and explicit) sound from a diminuitive young woman. Around the house, this is for opening the windows, cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom and dancing late night. i'm very addicted to this brazilian band called Cansei de Ser Sexy. it's pretty much broken english in cute accents with a disco rock sound. i suggest "let's make love & listen to death from above". you're whole place will be sparkling! :)

I've loved Ms. Allen for awhile now. How can you not? She's funky and unapologetic and silly and still not to be messed with. I'm so so glad she's made it over across the water.
