Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Our small house is direct by the waterside, everywhere in the house you can see nature and the sea. Scandinava is dark most of the year therefore we Scandinavans love white walls, light floors and big windows — we need all the light we can get!

Our kids share their room and they love it, but as a parent you need to be innovative when decorating and planning their rooms — for example, they have each chosen different colours on the walls in their shared room.

What a setting...and what a pure and perfect decorating effect. I would be so stress-free living here...I'm particularly in love with the little buffet w/the gilt mirror and frame and candelabra...artfully done.

That first shot is perfection. I love the simple, yet outspoken flower arrangement. It's a great touch.

I don't have a drop of Scandinavian blood running in my veins, but I too love white walls, light floors and large windows which I have in my house. Love your place and I'm jealous of your water views which I don't have.

beautiful, beautiful ,beautiful! I recently did some research on Sweden for a class and this home reminds me a great deal of the Swedish government websites. Just marvelously refreshing.
