Dept. of Wrecking Balls. Our friend on 22nd street is at it again. Just hours after the tenants in the triplex moved out, he has moved in with his contractor, Juan Corona, to rehab this aging, labyrinthian warren of remarkable rooms.
This is a crazy apartment. A combination of two floors and a small efficiency on the third floor, it goes on and on and could certainly be beautiful when they are done. It will either be for rent or for sale this summer.

Holy cow! I have the same ugly blue bathroom--only difference is that the fixtures are white. Good luck in the reno!
Dear lord please tell me they wont sand back them floor boards...
They look absolutely stunning all they need is a good clean and a wax and they would look fab!!
Otherwise the place has tons of options!
I really like the interesting curved loft bed on the 3rd floor, even though they're probably going to take it out.
the slideshow plays like a game of myst. i can't wait to see what they do with the place, because all it does right now is depress me.
I'm with Mary regarding that loft bed. Specifically, I would like to see some masonite curving around the outside of the stairway up to it, creating sort of a column with steps cut out of it, with storage behind it or something, and something compatible done with that other curve above.
Depressing? It makes me want to put on some work clothes and dig in and get that thing going! I LOVE that stuff!
