Graphic Stickers by Hu2

The good folks across the pond at Hu2 Design create the quirkiest vinyl wall stickers that I have ever come across. These are great for making temporary changes to a space, as they peel off and leave no residue.

What's especially cool about these guys is the line of Banksy-inspired pieces they produce, and other tongue-in-cheek designs; they can also make custom stickers from your own images. Everything by Hu2 is available in a whole rainbow of vibrant colors to add life to your decor without the need to commit.

Banksy is always punchy. He he. I also like Bad*ss decals. They have an Etsy shop. http://tiny.cc/9M6cm

I'm generally a big fan of graffiti looking wall murals and decals for interiors. Although I am very, very picky. Here are some favorites: http://tiny.cc/M2K2Y http://tiny.cc/Jt5fE

I agree with MODERnestS- big graffiti-like ones are usually the best.

But... I'm always super impressed with the ones for children's rooms! Also, it seems like a good nursery solution since they change so fast!

They should market it like this:

Presenting the new and improved wall decals from artists that make millions off disliking people who make millions.

Comes in 5 colors - Green, Money green, "laughing all the way to the bank" green, "I suckered everybody" green and last but not least "I believe in a capatalist gov. just like everyone else, but act like I don't" green.

All for $9.95 $1 million S&H.

While I do like graffiti art, and as much as I think the Balloon Girl decal would look great in my hallway, I somehow doubt Banksy appreciates this. His artwork isn't meant to be trendy - it's meant to provoke.

I like some of these, but would almost be more interested in finding out whether they can create stickers from my own artwork...just off to their website now.

Ooh, I don't know about that.

I don't know if Hu2's stuff is officially licensed product (I would hope so but there are plenty of people selling shonky Banksy stuff) but Banksy is not averse to using the fashionability of his work to make money and he'd be nothing without buzz/trend/fashion. Every time he sets up one of the pop-up shops or has a show, he rakes in the money (which doesn't bother me particularly) e.g. the Santa's Ghetto shop in London every year http://arts.guardian.co.uk/flash/page/0,,1967737,00.html

One commendable exception to that was when he took the Santa's Ghetto store to Bethlehem and used the $1m proceeds to fund scholarships for students living on the Palestinian side of the border: http://www.santasghetto.com/
