the ICFF has changed soooooo much.
Initially, it was a showcase for small, independent MAKERS/Designers of Furniture.
Now- there's as many Tzchokie (candlestick holders, alarm-clocks, fly swatters, toilet brushes, etc..) Vendors & MEGA Furniture Companies there - as well as companies like "flor" by Interface, that may have nice products- but WHAT do they have to do with FURNITURE???
The George Little Management Company has lost its way.
They need to go back to their roots.
Why?
There IS really no other venue for emerging talent (Furniture Design). There's the Fine Furniture and Furnishings Show in Milwaukee and Providence, RI. There's The American Craft Exposition Show in Evanston,Il every August- but these shows tend to highlight the skills of say a WoodWorker, and his/her wood selection/joinery skills - an entirely different thrust- than a small inventor/entrepreneur- wanting to find a WORLDWIDE audience of his or her own Product.
True, things may change- but not, always for the better.
