ICFF 2006: Nama Rococo, MultiPot & Akari

Nama Rococo Wallpaper
Nama Rococo is a super cool wallpaper studio. Their colors are vivid and their patterns are unique. They use archival acid-free French papers which are al individually hand-painted and hand-printed. They are not cheap, but if you just did an accent wall it wouldn't break the bank.

The MultiPot
If you have a lot of gadgets that need charging and wires that need taming, here's another gadget that will take care of all of them. The MultiPot is a transluscent bin that has a big power strip inside of it to charge all your devices. It even lights up.

Akari Light Furniture
If you ever wondered where you could find all of Isamu Noguchi's lighting in one place, this is it. Akari is the company that now produces all of these stunning designs and they all sell through the Noguchi Museum.

I completely agree about the extortion on the Multipot. Cool idea, nice looking, but grossly overpriced. (unless it also cleans floors, does the laundry, and washes the dishes, then it would be a great value!)

Anyone who shells out that much for the Multipot is a fool. It's disgraceful how much that thing costs. Just buy a Powersquid surge protector and tuck it behind something. It won't glow, but you'll save yourself $218.

Unplugging the adapters when they are not charging anything saves electricity.
