The boys at Blu Dot still look fresh-faced, despite any seemingly breakthrough new product... although I think their "Strut" family of tables has had a few new additions. a side and coffee table. While their sky blue finish isn't as photogenic as the watermelon, it is a sexy, clear, fresh and modern way to get some color subtly into your home or office.

Wolf Gordon continues their ICFF tradition of great product, beautifully presented. This year, they showcased student award-winning designs, like this Karim Rashid-esque "Roots" pattern. These are the folks who market Laurinda Spear's graphic papers, and along with places like 22, Alpha Workshops, and Cole & Sons, have made wallpaper not only a fashionable option, but de riguer for the stylish modern home.

Furniture so low, and presentation so low key, many ICFFers surely passed these by for the flashier big boys, but the finish alone (a silky, milky surface that begged to be touched) made this a stand-out. This table looks fabulous in that rich blue on his website. His square planters that can also be lights with glowing planes of acrylic would look beautiful in minimalist gardens.
is the Jaime Hernandez who designed the Roots wallpaper (you can read it on the plaque if you have good eyesight) the same Jaime Hernandez who draws Love And Rockets its sister books? I've always loved his work, and i think it's a fabulous idea for graphic artists in other forms to branch into home design via wallpaper and other graphically motivated design items.
