ICFF 2006: Inhabit Wall Flats

(This is also from Insta-Reporter David S.)

Want to add some real 3-D texture to your walls? Launching at the ICFF this week are these modular wall panels that you can just stick on your walls to make them come alive.

They seem pretty easy to use with their peel-and-stick adhesive back and automatic repeat pattern. They are made of paper pulp and come in three patterns. A box of 10 panels covers 22.5 square feet. They can be found at www.inhabitliving.com. - David S.

those would drive me crazy on the walls.

Ewww! I'd rather watch my mother make love to a horse than look at that monstrosity of a wall!

The curtain rings seem all right if they are far apart, but too much of them would drive me mad.
And those seesaw designs look like sausages to me!

The wavy ones remind me of a pizza dream. There's something disturbing about the way they bulge out, and move, and...oh.

I think they're kind of cool, especially the "bud" one in the background of the top picture, but I worry about having to dust the walls all the time to keep them from getting grimy.

I think they're just gorgeous. OK, mainly the seesaw ones. I think it would be nice to have these ring ones on one wall and some Wallter on another wall. And all in just one color.

The first photo is a little deceiving... in person, the scale is much more liveable.

Patrick (the other one) - have you seen these in person? If so, where? I'm on the borderline about using them for a 5' section of wall.

Alvin--
I just saw them at ICFF, and liked them.
Actually liked the tubular ones the best.

It seems that they just want to jump on the band wagon of wall decor. Mio Culture has been doing something like this for a while. Inhabit doesn't seem very original.
