ICFF 2007: David Roos & Wolf Gordon

David Roos - You couldn't miss this wallpaper from this brand new company, David Roos (on left). Big and beefy, it's the product of the new British design style that grows stronger each year. The one above is called Iron Trellis; check out Glittering Twigs below...

Wolf Gordon - WG is a huge to the trade supplier of wallpapers in many materials including vinyl and Earthsafe naturals, so we were suprised to see them getting as bold as someone like David Roos (above) with this offering on their booth wall. We also really liked the pattern.

Clearly, bold wallpaper is roaring back into play.

I suppose in this world of McMansions, it had to happen: Wallpaper scaled so large it would absolutely dwarf my post-war home. (I was out looking for an armchair today. I'm a bit, shall we say, sensitive, today?)

But hey, that beige and green scallop sure is pretty.

Very Nice! I saw those at ICFF and loved them too. There were also so many great Eco friendly new materials out there such as flooring and walls.

I feel your pain "biskinikill" about renting. I too want to do great unique things to my place and cannot. Inhabit Living though has some great modern wall idea's though for us renters like their Wall Flats and Wall Slats.

I have the Seesaw Wall Flats on one wall in my dining room and have painted them chocolate. They look amazing! They were really easy to put on.

Have a great day!

The David Roos stuff looks great. Just a word on Wolf Gordon. They are owned and run by homophobic people. It is unfortunate that they are able to thrive in the design community with such underlying ugliness at thge core of their organization.

Jackson has totally the wrong idea about Wolf-Gordon, if he wants to see for himself, he's invited to WG for a booty call. I think he's up for a shock.
