ICFF 2007: Hida Japan & Nama Rococo

Hida - Brand new and without a sales channel yet in the states, this furniture really stood out from everything else. The wood was buttery smooth (special 3-D compression technology), and the shapes spartanly designed by Enzo Mari (Italy!). The chair atop was our favorite.

Nama Rococo - This outfit continues to blow us away with their wallpaper patterns. With a bigger booth this year and a bolder display, the pick of the litter was this Little Butterfly Loop that is either graphic genius, an acid trip or both.

i thought that chair up top was supposed to be ironic- since it's shaped like a toilet seat!

Case in point: *knot* all natural woodgrain is attractive.

I have to agree, the first thing I thought of when I saw this was toilet seat. Glad to know I'm not alone on that.
