A Calm, Colorful Connecticut Home
New York Spaces

New York Spaces magazine features the Connecticut house of architect Gene Kohn and his wife Barbara. The Victorian house was built in 1894 and designed by Ehrick Kensett Rossiter, an American architect known for his country home designs. The house needed extensive renovations, but the results are lovely...

The house includes an insulated sunroom, where Barbara grows bananas, figs, and lemons all year-round. The mid-century modern and French Art Deco furniture comes from Barbara’s TriBeCa design store, Paul Kohn.
See more of the Kohns' Connecticut house on the New York Spaces website in the article "MODERN: romance; Unapologetic modernists fall in love with a Connecticut house built a century ago."

Can you please point me to where on the New York Spaces website I can find this home? Perhaps I'm just dense, but I'm a big Rossiter fan, but can't locate the article.

There is indeed something soothing about this design. Simple, yet elegant.
