We love getting reader tips. This one is from Peggy who shares with us her Three P Rule (goto: newyork @ apartmenttherapy . com).
"Here are a couple of pictures of my beloved apartment in honor of adornment month. Though it never stays the same, I adorn my apartment with the three P's: Pillows, Pottery and Paintings...

This is a very good example of taking white and working it to a froth. Almost literally. This white seems very pre-meditated and does not feel as if mandated by a landlord.
AND that room divider is very well-placed and well-dressed. Good job!

fun! I feel like the space needs some plants, though.

I agree with mmadden...your place is lovely and fresh and fun but it needs some live oxygen-producing/air cleansing plants! I have a decent number of plants all over my townhome and without them the rooms would definately seem colder and less healthy.

Man, I love my bf but sometimes I really miss living alone! Your apartment is so girly and cute. Live-in boyfriends seem to come with a "no pink" clause.

Peggy, can you tell us more about your artwork- are they your own work?
