How is Chicago today? Since we figure everyone in Chicago is up, taken care of ALL their office work, and ready to chat, how did it go? Did the bar tab run out for you as quickly as it did for us???? Curious, curious, curious...
Word just came in from Janel that it went well and "consensus was that we all are looking forward to the next one." Bravo! Our first NY meeting was really awkward, but exciting by the end. Practice makes perfect. Here's Pics from Janel:

despite the chicago cold rain and being sick, i made it to webster wine bar (on time!) and happily met janel, kathryn, walter, jen and others...though mingling was hard since we were sat at a long rectangular table. jp suggested we get a bell and chime in every 15 minutes for a rotation (a la speed dating, but we were without nametags). ok, so there was no bell. and i wish i could have stayed to chat with everyone more, but that's what sick girls do: leave early. hope the rest of the night was great. i know janel has several photos, i'm sure we'll see them shortly...
PS. our party was more the "sweet, little" type. i think i counted 11. my camera's battery died after taking a couple shots, but i'll see what i've got and send them out to AT land.
A good time!
It was raining last night, but a hearty group of us showed up, and took over a large table. I hadn't been there before, and thought the wine bar was a good choice. We were very comfy and well taken care of.
Lots of talk about what's coming up for Chicago AT, the NY and LA sites, and of course, shopping, eating, and our apartments.
I was happy to meet fellow AT enthusiasts and took a few pictures (I emailed them to you last night, Maxwell). Everyone I spoke to said they are looking forward to our next one.

Thought of all you Chicago AT fans last night, but stayed in to enjoy a rare night of everyone in the family home at the same time.
Thanks to Janel for organizing this. Walter and I had a great time. It was really fun to meet the Chicago AT crew. Looking forward to the next one!
