Casual English Beach Cottage Style

We feel relaxed just by looking at images of this Georgian seafront house. This is casual beach done right with coastal hues of blues, greens and stripes. We even love that skirt on the kitchen sink!

The white tile and walls are warmed up throughout the cottage with wicket baskets, wooden furniture and striped fabrics. Nothing is too precious. This is a place where you could put your feet up. What are your thoughts on this beach cottage. (I'd personally kill for those dining room chairs!)

So charming! I think this style is ideal for small spaces -- it's airy and very forgiving of clutter. You can take your shoes off and leave a pile of magazines next to the sofa without "ruining" the look.

Very English -- very charming. I agree with the comment about the skirt under the sink. The English get away with this so well.

I love the bathroom with the brick (former) fireplace and the painted floor. The whole thing is so understated and comfortable.

Ditto AustinSarah - I've always wondered why that is. Great little place. Love the cute little quirky touches like the teapot clock.
