Comics Bed & Breakfast, Italy

"It will seem you to live in a comic strip!" If you haven't outgrown your yearning for the great graphic pleasure of comics, we've found just the place for your next destination holiday...

The Comics Bed and Breakfast on the coast of Southern Italy (Campania) has given each room a comic book theme and intensely well done graphic art to match. Given that we're into house tours, we thought this might inspire. Of course, if you were in Southern Italy, why would you want Spiderman over your head at night?

And how, you might ask, did we find this? Image Google, of course, while looking for something totally different.

I like the idea of it. I just wish more had been done to integrate the comics theme. I could go either way on it actually. I think they should have stuck to European comics.

Yeah, I agree somewhat, Charlene. I'd love to sleep in the Baudoin Room. The David B. Room would probably cause interesting if disturbing dreams. But I think I'd want to avoid the Moebius Room!

But...if I could sleep in a Jaime Hernandez room I think all would be right with the world.

Oooh! This is a dangerous post! Being a comic buff with four children I am already imagining a green Martian Manhunter room, a flag inspired Captain America room, and a studly poster of Thor above my own bed! (hubby may protest, tho) :) :)

Another comic art fan here. While I like the idea of using big dramatic comic images in decor, the rest of the room seems much too bland and utilitarian. I recall seeing an article a few months ago showing Chip Kidd's apartment in which he had integrated comic book art very successfully.
