Dots Wood Coat Hooks by Tveit & Tornoe

2-22-dots-hooks.jpg

This group of solid oak pegs are from Norwegian design studio Tveit & Tornoe. The simplicity of the grouping of five round pegs makes an excellent, minimal coat rack. We'd love to see these in a small entry way, or even on the wall next to a door...

Dots would be an excellent addition to a child's room, too. Dots is part of the Muuto collection. Sold in a grouping of five, (1 large, 1 medium and 3 small). We found them on twentytwentyone
and Finish Design Shop, but we imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to find wooden drawer knobs in various sizes. What great inspiration for a DIY project!

These are elegantly proportioned but why would anyone pay nearly $200 for a set of what is essentially wooden drawers mounted to a wall?

This is great - now I know how to make extra money. Just go to Home Depot and get these cheap wooden knobs and mark them up 1,000 %.

Not my style, but wisely mentioned as safe for kids, for whom hooks might encourage dangerous pirate hanging games (LOL) or, completely seriously, not be good.

...I think my aunt used to have mushrooms growing out her kitchen wall that looked like that.... happy days!
