We just got lost in a gallery of stairways! If you're a fan of the amazing bookcase stairs or the modern marble stairs that we've posted here on ATNY, you'll be sure to enjoy the innovative and creative stairway solutions from British company EeStairs...

These designs act as sculptural showpieces, but also function as unique solutions for practical problems. Pictured above is the Leonardo stair concept from designer Geoffrey Packer. Below are more of his concepts and designs...

What stunning staircases - the Triskelion reminds me of the glass staircases in the atriums of the Holland America Line ships Noordam and Eurodam.

I sort of object on scientific grounds to his using three colors for the 'base pairs' in the DNA stairs. A, T, C, G. Use four colors! Or two--one for A-T pairs and one for C-G pairs.

But I'm a geek.

Really beautiful stuff----would look like crap after a months worth of use! You could never have real shoes on to go up and down these steps. One mark would show up so fast and look really bad to my eye!
