Embroidered Text Messages

Have you ever written or received a text message so artfully-composed that you wished there were a way to keep it forever (besides forwarding to nosy friends)? Well, Ginger Anyhow has saved some of her SMS scribble for posterity in stitches.

Since I'm all for oddball needlepoint work (remember this?), I thought I'd share some inspiration for your own nostalia projects.

Check out 10 additional texts at Ginger Anyhow.

These are excellent. I would learn needlepoint just to do something similar.

I don't know why, but when something is texted it is so much cuter than if it was emailed - or said in person. My favorite text received this week is "I will be there in 30 mintes give or take a couple hours"). =)

These are wonderful. That last one was a perfect way to end this set. :)

That last one made me laugh out loud and scare the cats. Utterly charming!

just not good ... it takes time to do careful embroidery ... these things aren't that memorable, except maybe the first one.

talk one more time? do it behind the projector? gimme a break.

These seem more like e-mails to me. Texts are usually not this long and the grammar and spelling is a little too good.
