It's that bad. Maybe the 70's are coming back into style, but if this tour through the pits of Eurpean interior design in 1974 is any indication, only Ben Stiller would believe it.
Sent to us by Josh Rubin, this site, Omodern, is a complete mystery. If anyone knows who these people are and why they would spend so much time collecting such horrific reminders of bad style, please let us know. (thanks, Josh!) MGR

Omodern means 'out of date' or 'dated' -- literaly, 'unmodern.' The site highlights dance bands and interior decoration from the 1970s.
I think it's not bad at all, maybe the phone needs to be on the other room, and the curtain maybe should be one colour.
that's that
This in a very interesting topic. Some may say that interior design from 1970s Europe is bad, as Maxwell does at the top of the page. Yet Hariman, one of the commentators on this thread says its fine. The perception of design and art is interesting. We have the "bad is good" concept, and "kitsch" and "retro". So is it just down to personal taste? What is bad? If it's bad, why is it bad? An interior design comprising leopard-print sofas and chairs, black mirrored walls, chandeliers and pink frilly lampshades would create a certain mood. I guess if the design you choose creates the mood you want, then it's fine. I can recommend Domane as an excellent firm of interior designers who are very good at creating interiors to conjure up whatever mood you need to create.
