A few years ago, I purchased some delicate items that got wrapped in a divine invention - tissue paper printed to look like simple blue-lined graph paper. I don't know what it was about the humble design that made me swoon, but ever since then I've been fascinated by all things grid.
Working with graph paper is still my favorite way to design, despite all the geeky software buried in my hard drive. There's a DIY appeal to it - and an orderliness that satisfies my OCD tendencies. When feeling especially intense, I go so far as to center my drawings within the pages. Oh boy...
Anyway, we'd love to see more graph paper things around these parts. Share 'em if you got 'em!
A favorite shirt ~ an over-sized, crinkly cotton Oxford button down recently purchased at a local TJ Maxx in the Men's Dept. It's my go to weekend shirt when I'm staying around the house.

Engineering paper is more appealing to me than graph paper, and not just because I did five years of homework on it. It's usually pale green (although occasionally it's tan) with a grid printed only on the back of the page so that it shows through well enough to guide without making the whole page cluttered with lines. To this day it's my prefered paper, especially for math of any kind.
I love the graphkin. Perfect for scribbling out ideas on napkins!

Reminds me of 'Bob' and 'Emily's' bedding in "The Bob Newhart Show".

Very nice things! I especially like the glass!
I made this table-cloth as a part of a longer research.
