Henry Lau's Lighting & Wires

High Wired. While we would normally retreat from the glow of flourescent bulbs, we wanted to share this inspirational post from Blueprint's blog Bluelines. Fashion designer Henry Lau has transformed his Lower East Side apartment by embracing simple solutions to everyday problems. By installing slim-line fluorescent lights Henry was left with long lengths of exposed cords...

...that he wrapped around the walls in an organic pattern, secured with U-hooks. Very simple and very effective.

If you're curious about the bedding blossom on the bed, be sure to read the whole post over at Bluelines.

yikes, so catty!

I think its a creative solution to a common problem - not lame at all! - its the kind of thing I originally came to this site for - inspiring ideas for interior decor without spending a fortune
