apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

I Love Julian Casablancas Always and Forever

Dear readers, please allow me to geek out just this once. The lovely and talented Julian Casablancas, lead singer of The Strokes, champion of my heart, has just released his first solo album entitled Phrazes for the Young.

Feeling inspired by the retro-electro sounds coming from my record player (MacBook speakers), I've selected interiors that vibe with I'm getting from the music. You can stream the whole album here, and you can call me a groupie loser down there (in the comments section).

my daughter loved/loves julian casablancas so much so that she named her first car after him (and that was nine years ago).

Julian Casablancas is great and these pictures really go with the style of some of his videos. Nice work.

Nice. Always love it when people go futuristic, but futuristic via how they thought the future would look like in 1972. I wish I could say I liked Phrazes...it's kind of letdown. Not a letdown: the bright orange sex triangle in the second picture.

I'm glad you like it. I taught him everything he knows.
