Isaac Mizrahi: Still All About Style

Isaac Mizrahi's new book How to Have Style is all about fashion, so we were surprised to see that his blog was so much about design (as well as fashion!). Isaac is guru of style-on-a-budget, he did, after all design for Target, so we were pleased to see that he applies those same thrifty principles to design. According to Isaac, inspiration is everything. We couldn't agree more, so we rounded up some highlights below.

The Ode to Junk was a call to gather all your mismatched dishes and throw a tea party. We love the juxtapostion of Fauchon pastries and William Poll sandwiches with a newsprint tablecloth, random china and drugstore candy.

These Marimekko pillows were highlighted in Isaac's Trend Blog. Isaac's trend blogger, Jessica, advises to buy your own inserts, then just find covers you like. Simple, but true.

Be sure to check out the countless videos on the site. We have to admit, Isaac is mostly focused on fashion, but there is a lot for the home and we hope he does even more.
