More Painted Buildings

We had some good response to Brooklyn's Victorian Brownstone, so here are a few more painted buildings that standout against the neighbors.

The first two buildings hail from New York City and both use red, yellow and blue. The first picture reminds me of a video game, the second makes me think fast food drive-thru. And the pink? Let’s just assume the CEO of Pepto Bismol lives there and that this makes sense.

The last set of row houses can be found in Washington, DC and I bet there's a pot of gold at the end of the block.

Whatever your fancy, it's bold home painters like these that make the world a bit more colorful.

I used to live opposite the pink brownstone on Garfield Place in Park Slope. Trust me, the owner's only connection to Pepto was as a user. Everyone on the block hated that place.

On the other hand, it was a convenient landmark when giving directions...

Um . . . . y.i.k.e.s. to the pink. It's horrible! The others at least, don't reach out and smack you.

I've walked by that pink one. So overwhelming. I LOVE the second one. Detailed and gorgeous.

I used to live around the corner from the pink one, and I think it's even worse in real life.

I think that, aside from the Pepto Palace, they're all quite pretty.

i live a few blocks from the bubble gum brownstone. i shudder every time i walk by. to own a park slope brownstone and to cover it in penicillin paint...these people should be brought up on charges. it's that tragic.

!!!!!!! Are you serious guys? The pink one looks so lovely and cutely bold! (The one thing I'd change is add some details on the architectural elements, now it looks like somebody just passed a huge brush over it.)
"and I bet there's a pot of gold at the end of the block" LOL

I live around the corner from the Pepto Palace. Agree that it's worse looking in person.
