M.'s Man-Child & Foot Pajamas
Holiday Stories 2008...

glass+&+pie.jpgHere's one story about "giving" that we're collecting from readers and publishing this week. To find out more or submit your own >> click here.

From M. Kingsbury:

Within one year, between the ages of 29-30, I gave birth to my first child, battled breast cancer, and became a widow. It was a traumatic time, one that I would not have survived without the support of family and friends. My first boyfriend after my husband passed was a man-child, literally, an IT manager who made ALOT of money which he spent on toys - think snowboards, motorcycles, a Segway, a unicycle, to name a few of his expensive amusements...

He was adventurous and impetuous; he was exactly the name I needed after so much tragedy. His Xmas gift to me that first year?

Foot pajamas.

Yes, indeed - I didn't even know these things existed for anyone older than 10.
