I would share my furniture with any of those little guys! The doxies and the boston are especially cute! Unfortunately, pets aren't allowed at my apartment, so I'll have to live through these photos.

argh! I have the perfect picture of our parrots on our old couch, sadly, you can't see much of the couch other than it's arm.

I swooned when I saw the little frenchie standing on the eiffel tower chair. Perfect together...

Well, one of the reasons that I'll never buy super-expensive furniture is that I never want to stress too much about my stuff getting banged or scratched up by my little family. My cats are welcome everywhere except on the table while we're eating.

The beige couch with 2 cats and a dog on it ... their body language ... a picture IS worth 1,000 words! ha ha

haha that rabbit is ridiculous. I mean, they're all cute. but the rabbit just about made me chuckle out loud. Animals are so adorable!

wow, I'm a moron. Is that a chinchilla? Regardless, that lovable animal that isn't a cat or dog is what I'm swooning over.

these are all adorable but the camoflage effect of #11 made me laugh out loud and the similarity between the dog's and chair's legs in #14 was striking!

Yes, stylefyles- that's a chinchilla!! His name is Skitchman Boo Radley, he is so precious, and he totally thinks he is in charge. Consequently, the doxie on the Eames rocker (Pepper) is also ours. :)

OMG - so cute. I don't have any pets because the apartments want a $300 pet deposit plus extra money per month, so I'm waiting til I can have a house. I really really love the picture of the frenchie!

What a great idea for a feature! I will have to link to the Pets on Furniture. (I write catsitterinthecity.com.) My cat Charlotte has access to every piece of furniture in my apartment, and I love nothing more than coming home to find her curled up on the couch or the bed.

My boxer hangs out on the couches when my husband is not home - she knows that she can get away with it when it's just me, but as soon as he walks in the door she quietly slips off the cushions and heads for the dog bed on the floor.

The puppies get me every time... and the chinchilla!!!!

That confirms it. Dachshunds are the cutest dogs ever.

Ha! I used to have a chinchilla and he wore that pissed off expression all the time! They are quite good jumpers and do look very cute perched on furniture, but they do leave poo everywhere and chew everything in sight when they are loose (which they have to be sometimes unless you have a very large aviary to keep them). They also live up to 20 years, so don't go getting one thinking it will be easier to take care of than a dog.

My boxer is a big snuggler and because we couldn't bear to ban her from curling up with us sometimes, we bought a designer sofa on Craigslist for our media room so that we could have something nice that we wouldn't mind her getting on. We have a nicer sofa in the living room that she is not allowed on, as I find life with pets much more enjoyable if you can sit on at least some of your furniture without either vacuuming it or changing your clothes first.
