Inspiration for living small is plenty at the Small House Society. We appreciated their collection of quotes on living simply. Some of their choice quotes are after the jump:

"Small rooms or dwellings discipline the mind, large ones weaken it." - Leonardo Da Vinci

"The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak." - Hans Hofmann, Introduction to the Bootstrap, 1993

"Out of intense complexities, intense simplicities emerge." - Winston Churchill

"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful." - William Morris

"Reduce the complexity of life by eliminating the needless wants of life, and the labors of life reduce themselves." - Edwin Way Teale

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo DaVinci

i dont know. i can do small, but i cant do without 'stuff'. it's the stuff that makes me happy, and if i can fit it in the small, i'd be even happier.

stuff doesn't really make anyone happy, we've just been conditioned by a consumerist society to believe that to be the case.
