Rooms With Silver Linings

As we continue into color month, I thought I would venture into metallics with a showcase of silver rooms.

Silver wallcovering seems to be the crucial factor in creating a silver room because otherwise it is just a room with silver accessories, right?

I just saw the film "Auntie Mame" and the metallic bedroom looks like an exact replica of, well, Auntie Mame's. See this movie for sure. It's a great story of a spunky woman who loves and lives life!

the first picture looks like a stage. Imagine getting up in the middle of the night and falling off the platform! Can it ever get dark in that room?

Good point re the wallcovering. Also, it seems like a silver room needs to be overstuffed or at least have a lot of fabric/plush things in order to not seem cold. Quite a challenge, but I love this when it's done well!

The 7th shot isn't silver at all -- it is a white Tord Boontje "Until Dawn" curtain backed by a clear shower curtain in a bathroom...
