I like it for kid's rooms.

I like random letters but something 'meaningful' is quickly boring.

Somebody mentioned on a previous post that if one were going to put ''eat'' in the kitchen, they also ought to put ''poop'' in the bathroom...

I love letters. I'm a big fan of signs. I take lots of photos of signs. Signs thrill me like few things do. Pic #5 above gives me warm memories of the 1970s.

I'm not big on words or letters to decorate, but yesterday I found a black wooden cut out saying "Relax". It was cheap, and I've really been having a hard time relaxing and being calm lately. I put it in my living room and it's a nice little reminder.

I like lettering as a form of wall decor that isn't confined to a rectangle or frame, but a lot of applications look tired. Speaking of tired, I love the last picture.

(Was it just yesterday I was considering putting "Bork, Bork, Bork!" up in the kitchen?)

I studied typography and worked in a typehouse in the late 1980's, so you'd think I'd love this. But it just looks so dated. Maybe enough time hasn't passed since it was so overdone in the 1970s.

this is one of my pet peeves. and my worst one is french words in the kitchen. after that comes words like "inspire", "spirit" and all that sort of successories type of language.

oh wow, remember those successories posters? yikes.

i do have a giant number 5 in my kitchen though and i love it. found it in a dead man's garbage. long story.

I've always been on the fence about it, though do collect the first letter of my last name (figuring it could be passed on to another family member easily), but that first photo I love... it kind of inspires endless Scrabble practice.

Our front porch has this odd wall right next to the front door that I'm considering covering with "B"s in varying fonts. This works on two levels as our last name starts with "B" and we are side "B" of a duplex. I like that it will be the first thing anyone sees when they come up to our front door. The wall is a dusty brown so I'm thinking about doing them all in cream white.

Otherwise, I kind of like the rare first initial sitting on a bookcase but spelling out "BUNKBED" on a bunkbed is just ridiculous.

No thank you...why does this keep coming up?
