Zachary House by Steven Atkinson

Small rural living. This little house is the country mouse alter ego to our city mouse dwelling. It's the Zachary House, designed by Steven Atkinson. We've long admired the design and wanted to share it here...

The floorplan is stunningly simple, with private bedroom space on one side and public living, dining, and kitchen spaces opposite an outdoor breezeway. Spare symmetry makes the place more spacious, with aligned openings giving way to long views through the house.

This is in a book on cabins that I have and I agree - beautiful and simple. I like the use of the glavanized roofing for siding.
