Pret-a-Habiter: Ready To Go Interior Design

9-26-pret2.jpg

9-26-pret1.jpgNeed a little help (or a lot)? Pret-a-Habiter, started by Carl Bradford Stibolt (marketing) and Reynaldo Gonzalez (interior design) exactly two years ago specializes in making interior design "simple, fun and affordable." We have never used them, but we hearty believers in a little help going a long way...

Because interior design on this scale relies on scrupulous project management, they have a tight, four step system for running their projects and they charge a FLAT FEE, which means you won't be surprised at any step along the way.

Full treatments run $2500 to $5000, but you can stop halfway with the Plan and do the rest yourself. Expansion is also underway. After starting in NYC, Pret is now in Boston and Los Angeles.

Actually, this seems to me a little expensive compared to Home Refiner's One Day Home Makeover. She only charged me about $1500 for the design package. It's on her website www.homerefiner.com, pictures of my apartment should be put up soon :-) Elizabeth
