Hey all you DIYers out there, we're sorry we've been so slow getting this up, but we wanted to try a new way of accepting entries in the hope that it makes it BETTER and more reliable. We've gone and made an official submission form, which you can find at the following link:
The deadline for entries is next Monday, January 21st, so give us what you've got from now until then! And we've also got some news on prizes below the jump...
Working the prizes, we have a commitment from that huge DIY mecca, eBay, for $1500 in eBay money to be spent anywhere within its vast environs. Each of our six winners will also receive a special AT gift bag full of best items and great swag from the AT Shop.
But more than any of that, we will all celebrate every entrants determination, ingenuity, creativity and progress in starting out the new year with a bang.

Am I the only one a little bit annoyed that this is happening in January? I have a few DIY projects on my to-do list but they all require painting... outdoors. January weather in New York City is not very conducive to outdoor activity (and I don't know a lot of apartments that include garages :)
