5 Unique Kitchen Fume Hoods by Barriviera Cappe
Appliancist

As a renter with a New York galley kitchen, one of my kitchen dreams is to have a proper range hood above the stove to help maintain the air quality in the small apartment while cooking. Appliancist has rounded up some very unique designs from Italian company Barriviera Cappe that bring some fun and funky to function.

All 5 of these design are from Barriviera Cappe — and they are either from their Design or Modern line.

1 Kappa is a range hood shaped like a K from old signage — K is for kitchen?

2 The Ora model features an integrated clock design.

3 The polka-dot themed Coccinella.

4 The sleek Indy Legno design.

5 Diamante looks like it came straight off of Battlestar Gallactica!

You can see even more unique kitchen fume hoods rounded up in a single post on Appliancist | Kitchen Range Hoods by Barriviera Cappe.

Does the K make anyone else think of K-Mart?

Cappa is the italian word for range hood; Kappa is the italian word for K. I think the K is a pun....most definitely no K-mart reference intended.

Bina is right. Plus, I find it truly beautiful. But in these things, as usual, one finds herself thinking "how much???".

Intentional or not, it does remind me of K-Mart. Couldn't have it in my Kitchen.
