Maxwell and Sara Kate used Henrybuilt cabinets in their kitchen renovation a few years ago and the Seattle-based cabinet and furniture manufacturer has added a line of design-conscious functional kitchen accessories that complement their backsplash collection and help with organization, efficiency and easy kitchen cleanup. Though the name Workspace Component Group leaves us cold, the designs for the knife block, colander and cutting board have us even more excited about the idea of working in a Henrybuilt kitchen...
All three pieces attach to the Henrybuilt's backsplash system (several material finishes available) — the colander and cutting board also integrate with the Henrybuilt sink and drainboard.
The cutting board, colander, and knife block are made from high-density plastic — a durable material that is easy to clean. They are also available in wood.
In addition to the three pieces listed above, the backsplash system from Henrybuilt has options for integrated wood and stainless steel shelves.
Henrybuilt currently has a showroom in Seattle and New York City— a Los Angeles showroom is in the works.

Their kitchen systems are nice but that concept above has me imagining cleaning out a grandparents kitchen from the 60's where everything was designed to be so "smart", but just got grimy and scratched up and not user friendly at all.
