Kitchen Tour at The Kitchn: At Home in Paris with David Lebovitz

Food blogger and cookbook author David Lebovitz is an American renter in Paris who inherited a narrow kitchen with a motley assortment of appliances stuffed under the slanted roof of his 650-square-foot top-floor apartment near the Bastille. “In America, if you don’t like your kitchen, you bulldoze it,” he says in his kitchen on a recent afternoon. “But renters don’t really spend a lot of money to do that in France.”

I had the good fortune to meet David in 2006 when my boyfriend and I took his Paris Chocolate Walk tour. He is the author of several cookbooks and a hilarious blog.

I love the fridge and the coffee maker. That's an awesome, REAL kitchen. I wish I were there eating some delicious creation and drinking that wonderful coffee.

One of the few REAL ktichens I have seen on this site. This guy definitely knows how to cook. Most of the kitchens you see in magazines, you are like, "do they only boil water?"
