While being interviewed on The Today Show the other morning, Jeff Lewis from
Flipping Out mentioned Perfect Plank countertops as a simple, affordable way to update your kitchen.

Their website promises speedy delivery, orders received on Monday will ordinarily ship on Friday of the same week. And in their words, “If there is anybody in the industry with lower prices or quicker delivery, we haven't found them.”

For over 50 years California-based Perfect Plank Co. has been manufacturing kitchen countertops, islands, tabletops, and butcher blocks in a wide range of finishes like Alder, Maple, Mahogany, Sugar Pine, Jelutong and Western Red Cedar. Perfect Plank emphasizes that they can provide planks of any thickness up to 3.5", and width up to 60", and any length up to 16'.

Beyond counter tops and butcher blocks, Perfect Plank can also be used for paneling, cabinet parts, stair treads, and flooring.

Prices and shipping costs vary, so you'll have to contact Perfect Plank for an estimate.

Check out their website for more info and let us know if you’ve had success with Perfect Plank.

I don't know. Maybe I'm taking this too seriously, but "writing" articles by cutting&pasting from the website of a product one has never seen seems kind of lame.

Apparently you've never seen his show. Jeff Lewis is a little radioactive! (Which is why he is so entertaining!)

Budget version of this look is definitely the Pronomen countertops from Ikea. DIY.

These are far more beautiful than the countertops from IKEA - I think I may be using these when I replace the counters in my kitchen...
