Rotating Table Plate

11.14.progetti.jpg

Turn, turn, turn. A modern take on the old lazy susan, this Rotating Table Plate by Emaf Progetti brings beauty to the old kitchen accessory...

Made of glass and steel, this design is a far cry from that old platic one grandma used to keep out on her table. We love the function (always have) and are now happy to see the form's improvement. Available at Unica Home for, ahem, $630. Sizes range from about 18" to 30" diameter. Why aren't there more options out there for modern lazy susans?

hmmmm, maybe a lazy susan would be a good use for an old turntable and LP....

They have these exact same Lazy Susans in China town (clear glass and all) for about a hundred. I can't remember where I got one for an old boss of mine but it was your standard restaurant supply....

Who's doing the editing on these posts???... Was this a serious home design suggestion???

Was the "old kitchen accessory" unattractive in a way I was unaware of???

This was truly ridiculous thing to post... Or rather, it should have been posted AS a ridiculous thing.

You're getting a cut to post this stuff, right?

I think you guys should post an array of lazy susans now. Consider it a $630 penance. I'd like to see marble ones, shapely wooden ones, chrome ones, tupperware ones, mid-century mod ones...
