Aquatinta Suspension Lamp

3-29-aquatinta.jpg

Looking for new pendant lamps for a client and trying hard to avoid all the usual suspects in favor of something clean and classy, we found a little known design by Michele de Lucchi that has vintage/modern mix to it and comes in a really nice range of styles...

3-29-aqu2.jpgThe Aquatinta Suspension Lamp is handblown from Murano glass and has the distinction of being in the permanent collection of the Centre George Pompidou in Paris. It comes in clear, green, frosted, white, silver and black. We found it at Homework, Good, and YLighting.

I like that flesh-colored (mauvey) one on the right. Cool.

That's right, I have a client who just got these for her kitchen from Moss. The electrician pulled both the wire and the cord taut, on two pendants, so it has to be reworked (hopefully there is slack). Be careful the electrician doesn't do that, if they didn't see a picture and no one was home, they'd never keep it loose like it's supposed to be.
