These small shades can turn any wine glass into a lamp. The shades, designed by Anke Rabba and Katrin Kuchenbecker of Germany, make a lamp of any wine glass and tealight.
Simply take the wine glass, light a tealight inside, and top it with the shade. Voila: instant romantic ambiance. Available from Poaa: about 20USD for 3.
We don't see much more detail on the website but we're guessing the shades have a special armature to fit them to a wineglass.

So I guess I will drink my Pinot Noir from a coffee mug whilst my wine glasses are busy holding candles. I don't get it.
Seems like a fire waiting to happen.
With the shade, I don't think many people would recognize it as a wine glass... so there's really no point. Novel concept, but no way to execute it well.
Why would you want people to know it was a wineglass? That's tacky.
I think this is too cute...some people must not have a creative eye...
