A clean, well roomed light. We admired the Tolomeo desk lamp ten years ago, purchased our first seven years ago, starting purchasing them for clients three years ago and still consider them the best all-around desk lamp going.

The Tolomeo is a real classic beauty, and I love the wall models (plus, in the world of designer lighting, a relative steal, $$-wise). Plus, they beat the style gurus at Apple to the "brushed/shiny, aluminum/chrome combo" that looks so New on the iPods by a few years!!
PS: I've ordered directly from Artemide's site in the past, and the prices and delivery are almost too good to be true.

I've had two of them for 10 years and have found any number of ways to incorporate them into my changing decor. Truly as classic design staple. They are currently bedside lamps. Highly recommended!
