Candela: Electric Lights that Inspire

I thought I would never love plastic. If someone told you that they were selling an electric candle, housed inside of white plastic, you would probably be a little skeptical. I was. When you see the Candela by Vessel (a new Boston design firm), and you pick it up, and it responds by glowing in your hands you get hooked. You want to show it to someone else. You want to take it home and try it in different places in your house. You want to see what small children will do with it. You want to use in outside. You want to use it in the nursery. We met the designers, Duane and Stefane at ICFF and right away used it in this week's Mission: Organization film shoot. We're hooked, and want to spread the word. I've seen these before and wondered about them. They'd make nice "get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night lights" I think. They'd also be cool during a power outage it looks like.

I have a set of candelas as well (Terra style, red, orange, yellow). They're wonderful. We use them in the bedroom for reading and "setting the mood" so to speak.

Buy a set. I bought mine from Alsto's (www.alsto.com) for less than the quoted price. :)

Candeloos suck !! Followed every instruction and my second set stopped working after one charge ! The first set did not even make it to the first charge. NEVER BUY CANDELOO ! And the customer service is just aweful.
