Garbo Lamp at Room and Board: And 3 Other Picks

9-10-gar2.jpg

Room and Board continues to impress. Checking out the SoHo store over the weekend, we spotted a few new pieces that we felt were really beautiful and distinctive, foremost of which was this Garbo Lamp...

9-10-gar3.jpgWith an olive glass base and an off white linen shade, the Garbo has a low, sexy center of gravity but a tall presence that communicates a sense of urban elegance. We particularly like the choice of green. This is a color that you rarely want to do your walls or furniture in, but it goes so well as an accent. $249 at Room and Board.

Just found it--it's the Calvin (and exactly what I've been looking for):

I have to say I had a very good experience with Room and Board- I bought the Copenhagen Office Cabinet, it is very well made, delivered and set up timely, and I am very happy with my purchase. I recommend them highly!

Am considering buying the Copenhagen office cabinet, so was happy to hear that someone is pleased with their purchase of this item. Am also getting the matching bookcase and low media console. Any comments from anyone on those pieces? This is my first experience with Room and Board. I am unable to see the pieces firsthand, so would appreciate any input.
